Bio

David Gomez is an accomplished conductor with an unusually broad professional and international musical background. He holds a Doctorate in Music in Conducting from the University of Oklahoma and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study the music of Antonio Vivaldi in Venice, Italy. His career has included musical work with prestigious institutions such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, along with extensive experience as a professional musician, conductor, and educator.
Alongside his performance career, David has built a distinguished career in music education, serving as a professor at several colleges and universities across the United States. His collegiate teaching and leadership experience includes appointments at the University of Oklahoma, Five Towns College, the University of South Florida, and Florida SouthWestern State College, among other educational institutions. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to developing musicians and sharing his expertise in performance, conducting, music theory, and ensemble direction.
